Geological Operations in Sri Lanka
National Operational Hubs
Shoring and Piling provides synchronized foundation execution across 60 major urban and industrial hubs. Our engineering strategy is precisely calibrated for the geological profiles of each operational region.
Coastal and Alluvial Deposits
Predominantly alluvial sands, silts, and soft clays. High groundwater table levels are common, often within 1-2 meters of the surface.
Residual Soils and Rock Formations
Residual soils derived from metamorphic basement rock. Variable depths to bedrock with potential for boulders and steeply dipping rock profiles.
Intermediate and Dry Zone Formations
Consolidated residual soils and hard laterite (Kabook) layers. Generally lower water tables compared to coastal regions.
